Reflecting Diverse Communities

News organizations say they want to hold up a mirror to their communities. But many in the public say they don’t see themselves in the picture. Addressing that issue means content audits to check systematically on who’s in and who’s out, generating coverage about immigrants and for them, expanding source lists to be diverse in ways well beyond race and gender.
