The National Credibility Roundtables Project is a journalism service project of the Associated Press Managing Editors. Its goals are to strengthen connections between the public and the press, address credibility issues such as accuracy and diversity and build journalism that deserves to be (and is) trusted. The project is funded by the Ford Foundation.

The Associated Press Managing Editors is a professional organization with a membership that includes top editors from more than 1,500 American newspapers affiliated with The Associated Press.  Since 1933, its mission has been to assist newspaper editors in coping creatively and effectively with newsroom management challenges.  APME also monitors service of The Associated Press to member newspapers.  You can learn more at www.apme.com.
